Introducing Time-of-Use export with Ecotricity

Ecotricity have added a key feature to their ecoBATTERY Price Plan, available exclusively to residential battery customers with 5 kWh or greater storage capacity.

To help you maximise on the financial returns of any excess solar you export back to the grid and lend crucial support to the country during peak energy demand periods, Ecotricity is offering a peak buyback rate of 21 cents per kWh, throughout the whole country, 365 days per year.  

Here’s a glimpse of the rates:

  • Peak Buyback Rate: 21 cents
  • Off-Peak Buyback Rate: 12 cents
